Call me blessed

"For he cares for the lowliness of his handmaid; From now on, all generations will call me blessed."

Dear brothers and sisters, this Christmas season, we are once again reminded of how God's love and grace have come to the world, especially those who are humble and obedient to His will. Today, we meditate on God's work through Mary's words and learn how to respond to Him in our lives.

1. God cares for the lowly

Mary was an ordinary woman who lived in a humble town called Nazareth. She was neither a member of the royal family nor a religious leader, but God chose her to carry out an important role in His plan of salvation.

This reminds us that God does not measure value or choose instruments by the standards of the world. Do we also feel insignificant and unvalued today? However, the story of Mary tells us that God sees our hearts, not our outward appearances or status. He cares for those who are humble and uses them for great works.

2. Humility brings blessings

Mary's response to the angel's message was filled with humility and confidence: "I am the handmaid of the Lord, willing it to be done in me according to your word." (Luke 1:38) She did not resist, nor questioned, but was completely obedient to God's will. Because of this, she became a person of praise for all generations.

Like Mary, can we, too, choose to trust God in the face of unknowns or challenges? Humility is not weakness, but entrusting one's life to the Almighty Lord, trusting Him to lead us on the path to blessing.

3. The universality of God's grace

The phrase "Blessed shall all generations call me" is not only a personal testimony of Mary, but also an invitation to all who believe in God.

Through the birth of Jesus Christ, salvation is no longer confined to one race or class, but is open to all mankind. Christmas reminds us that this grace belongs not only to the past, but also to the present and the future. Everyone who believes in and accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior can share in this eternal blessing.

Conclusion: Responding to God's love

Brothers and sisters, are we willing to respond to God with humility and faith in this special season, as Mary did? Let us remember that no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in, we can be witnesses of His grace if we are willing to obey Him and rely on Him.

May this Christmas not only celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, but also live out His love and peace in our lives. Let us encourage each other to preach this message of salvation so that more people can experience the truth that "blessed are all generations."

Merry Christmas to all!

Are you a good person?
